Down at the pits…
The day has now turned to night. But how can that be when it’s only 4pm? Maybe its my vision that’s dimming. The eyes, what a magnificent creation of God. Break down the eye into its basic components and you’ll be amazed at the knowledge and wisdom that God has in making it. But how sinful is man! HOW SINFUL AM I!? Wow. And to know that God sent His Son to save me, it’s, it’s incomprehensible. Unthinkable. UN-imaginable. So much of His goodness and mercy upon one small speck of dust in comparison to the rest of His creation, it just rips my heart of me. The thought pulverizes my soul, or what’s left of it as I had left it to rot in the midst of the sin that i had committed, the sins that i have nurtured. YET how faithful and loving is the Lord in that He used the object of my lust, the object of my sinfulness to steer away. In the most subtle manner, he broke my being. He enlightened me to the fact that I am a disgrace to His holy Name. That i was helpless and condemned to eternal separation and punishment from Him. Most especially of all, He opened my eyes to the Gift on the Cross. The Gift of Salvation that should have never been accessible to me, or to anyone. But because of His supreme love and grace, I can be free. Yet why, o God, why do I still sin? For the past days I have searched out Your Word, and yes I have found the answers to my problems, but I never found You. O God, please…Hear my cry. Though I am not worthy of your grace and love, may You hear me out o God. Save me from the wretch that is me. Cleanse me o Lord of these impurities and may You give me grace and power to overcome, to move on unto Your loving embrace. May Your blood cleanse me of my sins, O God. May You keep me away from the source of my lust, my sin. O God, may Your ear be upon the sincere pleas of my heart and my soul. To You be the glory that will emanate from my life of following you o God…
THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING ME, FOR BEING THE ONE TO PAY FOR MY SINS…
MAY MY LIFE BE WORTHY OF YOUR NAME…
AMEN.
